Removal Request Rejected: Spieleparadies Zirl

Wayspot Title: Spieleparadies Zirl

Location (lat/lon): 47.269938, 11.251268

City: Zirl

Country: Austria

This playground is located on private residential property (apartment complex) with no public access.

The official sign marking the boundary of the private property is located at the entrance near the street (coordinates: 47.2701355, 11.2505867) and can be verified on Google Street View: Google Maps

The sign explicitly states: “Zugang zu Innweg 5k und 5l” and “Privater Spielplatz Weilerkreuz”. This confirms that the entire property, including the playground 100-200 meters inside, is strictly private residential grounds. Non-resident players entering the property cause noise disturbances and safety concerns for local residents. Please review this evidence and remove the Wayspot.

Additionally, the playground is completely hidden from the street, forcing players to trespass onto private property to reach it.

This is allowed, only single family private residential property is not allowed

see:

The cited rule applies to general eligibility, not removal requests based on explicitly prohibited access.

Official sign at the entrance:

“Privater Spielplatz Weilerkreuz” = Private property, non-residents prohibited.

Non-residents entering are trespassing, causing noise and safety issues for residents. Please review the attached evidence and remove this Wayspot.

That is not relevant, it does not have to be accessible to everyone. All residents can access it, so more than just a single family.

“Shared community spaces in multi-family residences and apartments like those above can be eligible”

Please note that the property owner can submit a removal request

If people are accessing this pokestop, and trespassing or otherwise causing a nuisance, you can definitely submit a removal request if you are a property owner there.

Any player can report unsafe Wayspots that cause trespassing or privacy issues for local residents. Additionally, this playground is hidden deep inside private property and not visible from the street. Please review the sign evidence and remove this Wayspot.

I am just a forum member, so not staff, official Scopely staff will do the review.

But we see a lot of these reports at this forum, and we know that it is unlikely that they will remove this wayspot.

As it is clear that it is a multi family home, this will allow a wayspot to be placed there.

In this case:

  • it is a playground (always a good wayspot)
  • Location is accurate
  • Location can be accessed safely by the residents of the apartment complex

So this an eligible location, the fact that other people are not supposed to be there, doesn’t change it.

Normally only the property owner can have it removed.

No they can’t [if they expect their report to be acted upon]

Every player can report a wayspot for removal if it meets removal criteria. Only property owners can request removal when a wayspot does not meet removal criteria.

This does not meet removal criteria based on location, as it is not SFPRP but multi-family.

Since you are appear not to be a owner, why are you bothered by this pokestop?

Thanks for the appeal, @bestspoter! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
