# Remove/merge duplicate Wayspot

# Remove or merge the duplicate Wayspot

- City: Lappeenranta
- Country: Finland
- Additional Information _(if any)_: The Wayspot I got accepted is a duplicate of a Wayspot that got accepted on the same day. Below are the details of the two Wayspots:

## Wayspot 1 (keep this)

- Wayspot Title: Kuusenkerkkä
- Location _(lat/lon)_: 61.053088, 28.205141

## Wayspot 2 (remove/merge with above)

- Wayspot Title: Kuusen ja männyn oksat
- Location _(lat/lon)_: 61.053065, 28.205151

**This is my first time posting here, so I apologize if there’s anything wrong with this post. I’ll provide more info about the Wayspots if needed!**

Welcome to the forum 🙂

A standard way to do this would be to report the second wayspot as a duplicate using the Report button on [Niantic Wayfarer](https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/mapview). You can put a lot of text in the report, so you can reference the wayspot that this is a duplicate of.

These are definitely duplicates accepted a day apart. I have reported this, since it was quicker than typing this post.

I am concerned about how these both got accepted. Wayspots this close together are supposed to get queued in order to prevent this exact situation from occurring. Tagging @ScopelyExpAaron just in case there is an issue that needs checking.

So, do I still need to report it through the Report button, since you already did it? Or did you mean something else?

And for the queuing issue, I guess it was because I upgraded my nomination for the Wayspot, so it might have skipped the queue.

**EDIT: I just reported the Wayspot through the map view. Thank you once again!**

Hi, yes, in order for this to be an appeal, you would need to provide a rejection of a removal l, as spelled out in the post template. I have moved this to #General Discussion in the meantime. Good luck!
