As well as this being an unusual location for such signs, it is also unusual to have such a detailed information board duplicated, with the same information in-front of multiple trees.
A website (URL) is much better proof than an email, as the latter is easily faked.
Apologies for not looking at this issue in context with the other Wayspot. I was looking at Google Maps since I have been having trouble getting the Wayfarer site to load. It feels like any other suggestion I made would also have applied to the other Wayspot that was not removed, so it feels like this has to be an issue of being reported as a duplicate. I think I would concentrate the appeal on showing this is a distinct location, and worth coming to this particular tree, to meet the exploration criteria. Good luck with your appeal!
I mean they are not random trees. The pokestop of the plum that was removed was planted there, and it’s taken care of by the community, while the other pokestop are Wild Plum trees.
When I did the photos it looked strange that they put the signs there but it was somewhat poetic.

Plum trees thre from what I know are kind of a big thing, as they do jams and other bevarages using the fruits.

I can try and search, but honestly I dont think there will be any about a small project in a village with a population of 600
The size of the village is not really that relevant. Some villages, or groups of villages, in the UK have community newsletters which would definitely mention things like this. Since this is intended to encourage visitors (it’s definitely not for people who live there), promoting this somehow is fairly normal, regardless of the size of the village.
There might be nothing online, which doesn’t help you.
I couldn’t find any articles, maybe because not all signs were placed (They have put on hold 4 species on my end due to “Road Maintance”) or as I mentioned Rural Romania. I am hopeful though, it would be a bit sad on my end as my work wouldn’t really be seen be any local articles
The project is named something like “Discover the Local Flora” or in romanian “Descopera Flora Locala”. This is how my company called it, but I couldn’t find anything online.
I suppose I’ll just wait for the official verdict
