So I’m part (technically leader, but not enough players for an actual community) of a student community at my college campus. About a year ago, I nominated a then indoor basketball stadium as our third ever nomination which was accepted as a pokestop in Pokemon Go. About 6 months ago, the stadium was cleared and relocated to the indoor stadium at the sports complex. The basketball stadium is right behind the hostel and is now a construction zone filled with debris of all kind. Because the location is unsafe and poorly lit, students are prohibited access. Me and other members of our community have tried removing the pokestop (now a gym) since (through the Pokemon go app) but with no
success. Any advice on how to proceed?
This is a picture of the area, showing the lack of the stadium and the construction zone it is now
I have moved your thread to the Wayspot appeal area. I think you have already included some good information for staff to review this for removal. But you will also need to add a copy of the email you received from the unacceptable in game request for removal.
Feel free to look around and please ask more questions
To clarify, all of what I’ve marked both on the pogo map and the picture is the former location of the irl basketball stadium, the nomination of which is a gym in Pokemon go. (Note, by gym I mean a gym in Pokemon go)
That is the unsafe area now. The basketball stadium has been moved to the indoor stadium which is ahead of the hostels(about 750 m away), not in the picture (this is IRL). The indoor stadium is not exclusively a basketball stadium and is for badminton and squash as well.
In Pokemon go, I have already nominated the indoor stadium separately and that is in voting currently.
