I want to start off with saying I couldn’t find a routes section on here so I went with the next best options. So back in February a few friends asked me to create routes in their apartment complex which I agreed to help them out. A few days ago I saw the routes had been removed due to “Private residential property”. The routes were created in a multi purpose apartment complex. Multiple AMA’s and criteria state that apartment complexes are allowed and are NOT considered single private property. I appealed ingame and in under 2 hours magically denied and I have a feeling it wasn’t really reviewed, just auto rejected. I don’t have the long./lat. but I have other information.
Like I said Waypoints and routes within apartment complex according to ama and criteria have stated they are allowed and not considered single private property. I know the trainer reporting it as he is simply reporting anything and everything I create due to being mad at going no contact. This is also a trainer who cheats by spoofing. Trainer names can be given if Niantic needs trainer names but here’s the information for the rest, hoping to get the routes restored for my friends as this person is just going around false reporting anything and everything simply because of hurt feelings.

I know you are frustrated but I’m not sure how much we can help you. Routes are a Pokemon Go team decision. Wayfarer stops once a wayspot has been accepted into the overall Niantic/Scopely database. It is each game’s decision on how to use them.
That being said, I do want to clarify that there can be eligible items in an apartment/condo/gated community. These must be in communal areas, so not in the units or on their private patios. And an apartment/condo complex does not meet eligibility on its own. — I couldn’t tell from your write up what had been accepted as wayspots in the community, you likely know this already.
Note that I did move this to the General Discussion area as Routes cannot be appealed through Wayfarer.
I appreciate the reply. The apartment complex does have a couple of stops and 3 gyms so I along with other players have nominated everything within the apartment complex. At the moment it’s simply the 2 routes that were falsely removed.
It sounds like you followed the right in game process to appeal. I’m not sure what they look at to make decisions on Routes.
As far as your concern about another Trainer that should be reported in an Abuse form so that details can be added and not on the Forum. We avoid speculation here as it can be very hard to really know how/who reported something.
Appreciate the advice. Just hoping Niantic/Scopely member can look into it. Routes can always be remade but I feel like this would be the appropriate steps instead of just recreating them and having issues arise.
