Welcome to the forum @tomsean Usually when a Pokestop disappears after a move, it has been moved into a level 17 S2 cell with another Wayspot already in it. To learn more about how Pokemon Go uses S2 cells, see this article: > **[A Comprehensive Guide to S2 Cells and Pokémon GO | Pokémon GO Hub](https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/)** > > Pokémon GO is built on top of S2 cells. This article explains how S2 cells work, what are S2 cells and how S2 cells work in the context of Pokémon GO. S2 cells are a mathematical mechanism that helps computers translate Earth’s spherical 3D shape... If you would like to give the name and location (estimate if you don’t have the exact coordinates) of the ~~Pokestop~~ Wayspot, someone can check and see if this is what has happened in this case. I have seen some reports of appearing and disappearing Pokestops where staff has had to do something on the backend to make it stable. I think these situations are also after location edits. Edit: I found one of these examples here > [@Pokestop keeps disappearing and reappearing](https://community.wayfarer.scopely.com/t/pokestop-keeps-disappearing-and-reappearing/36336/8): > > This Wayspot is not eligible to appear in Pokémon GO. I have enforced the dataflow so that it does not stay in limbo. --- _[View the full topic](https://community.wayfarer.scopely.com/t/standard-compliant-pokestop-disappears/49345)._
