Are new nominations for generic State Survey Marks allowed now?
I’ve been seeing a bunch in Review and at least one of them has been approved as a Wayspot.
The reason I’m asking is that there are 2 survey marks close to my house. I do not want them nominated and becoming pokestops/gyms in Pokemon Go for personal (parenting) reasons so I’m hoping I can legitimately request their removal if it happens.

I’ll include the clarification about Survey Markers below, but ones that are in a residential neighborhood most likely would not meet eligibility. They are more like infrastructure and do not encourage exploitation, exercise, or socialization.

These are pretty generic ones - both the recently approved Wayspots and the ones close to me.
IMO only super survey mark enthusiasts or government professionals would see these as interesting.
So the follow-up question - once they’re approved are they stuck as Wayspots?
Unless they’re location unsuitable (road, school, PSFRP etc) I don’t think they’re able to be removed as Wayspots?
You can report and staff can decide. I tried to get Aaron to clarify removal criteria and he gave me this answer:
I recently (last month or so) reported a bunch in my area and they were removed.
The other day I reviewed one (and rejected) that I think was an attempt to bring one of them back.
I’ll now have to search the area again.
