McDougalls Reserve.

This was 2 days ago when I tried to move it to the right location and then I put my nomination in for the church upgraded and two days later it appeared as a stop but removed the showcase stop that had move to it right location yesterday all day yesterday it was showing as i had done my route from Robinson Reserve to McDougalls Reserve and back called Lachlan ave up and back witch uses the spot as a turning point.

Could you post the exact location for the Church.
I am not seeing it on either of the official maps.
So that location isn’t showing on Wayfarer maps for me but shows it in-game for me. Location ID: 95187638,

Quick opinion on the Church nomination.
The sign in itself is not eligible and only being used as an anchor for the Church. The Church is what is eligible. IMO I would not include the word Sign in future nominations unless the Sign is the nomination.
I have no idea why the reserve sign has gone. I can see its previous location on ingress where it was located on the wrong side of the road.
Was the adjustment simply to move it to the opposite side?
Was it done via the help chat?
I was trying to nominate the sign as the church is in another cell altogether only because as have little options for stops or gyms around the location I was trying to maximize the amount of opportunities we could get as most of the community has to walk which isn’t bad that most of us are in a location with as little as one stop every 1-3 S14 cells. Just trying to build a pokemon community within singleton Heights otherwise we have to travel across town just to maximise the efficiency of raid days
The Sign does not meet any criteria. The Sign does not encourage Social / Exercise or Explore.
These should be classed as the same point of interest and the 2nd 1 should be Rejected as Duplicate.
There is opinions on pinning at the sign or the actual POI, I prefer the POI.
This is not a reason to go against criteria. Looking at the map this is definitely not a “Wayspot Desert” and the game is Pokemon GO.
We are going off Topic so to return to the original, the tools we have as normal Wayfarers the same as you seem to show everything as expected. You will have to hope Staff comment.

I forgot we could refer back to Ingress locations as well never really got into it so totally forgot but yes in Ingress it’s location easy exactly where you said it is but should be across the road I’m still basic to all this so I don’t know what’s going on just thought asking questions about this stuff helps. I have appealed the problems with nianticlabs though email so we will see what happen in all good time thanks for everyone though and for taking time out of your days to have a chat
Thanks for informing me I thought they would have been classified as two different pois as one is a building in the other one is a entrance sign. I’m just going off what I have seen in game.

Using what you have seen in game as a guideline is not the best way to proceed.
The criteria have changed over time, so old wayspots might not now be eligible. Reviewers are not perfect and sometimes accept things that are not eligible. Some things might be accepted using abusive methods.
Every wayspot needs to encourage Socialisation, Exploring or Exercise. A church sign does none of these if it is just a church sign. The church itself is the place for socialisation; the sign is definitely not.
It is the wayfarer map with community derived plug ins/ overlays .
Do an internet search for wayfarer tools - you should find an index of plugins and a link to the wayfarer discussion discord where help can be found.
