I’m having a hard time getting any pokey stops confirmed or approved. I’m doing the same thing that the other neighborhoods have done and yet they have been approved to include a PokéStop that is literally in the intersection of a highway. I’m pretty confused about these little libraries as well as they’re open to the public, but they keep getting declined and not approved. I’ve gone over the requirements and the criteria with no success following those guidelines. Do I have to pay someone or make a donation to get more PokéStops done for an approval?
You really can’t use existing PokéStops as proof that a new nomination should be accepted. The database contains plenty of older Wayspots that were approved under different standards, misplaced, or simply should not be there anymore.
Little Free Libraries are a good example. A lot of them are installed on single-family private residential property, which makes them ineligible even if they’re publicly accessible from the sidewalk. So seeing one already in the game does not mean a similar nomination is valid.
The best approach is to evaluate each nomination against the current criteria and the actual real-world location, not against whatever happens to already exist nearby.

Absolutely not. It would be an abuse that should be reported if someone is offering this service.
If you post screenshots of a nomination that you don’t understand being rejected, we can try to help you with it.
