To Niantic Admins and the Community,
I am writing to formally expose a clear case of systematic location abuse and map manipulation in this area (Representative Coordinates: 35.171130, 128.817745).
As shown in the attached Wayfarer map, there is an unnaturally high density of Wayspots clustered around coordinates 35.171130, 128.817745. This is not a coincidence—it is the result of coordinated abuse:
Repeated Nominations for the Same Object: Local abusers have repeatedly submitted multiple Wayspot nominations using the exact same physical playground and structures, slightly tweaking photos or titles to bypass the system.
Deliberate Location Shift: Coordinates have been intentionally manipulated and placed away from actual physical locations to bypass S2 cell rules and artificially inflate the number of Gyms and Pokéstops.
This is a blatant attempt to manipulate the map for personal advantage, completely ignoring Wayfarer guidelines.
I strongly request Niantic Admins to conduct a full audit of this cluster around 35.171130, 128.817745, remove all fraudulent and duplicate Wayspots based on the same playground, and restore map integrity
Please check the circle that i pointed
I have not checked any of these on the map, so cannot attest to the validity of this report, but my first question would be:
If you believe these are ineligible, have you reported them for deletion in-game or via the Wayfarer Map?
If you have and your report was rejected, and you still believe that the Wayspots meet the strict removal criteria, then you can appeal here on the forum.
To post directly here without having attempted the standard removal process first is not the intended method.
I agree there are many bad wayspots and many duplicates at this location. So yes, I would also encourage you to report these (using the wayfarer map, or perhaps the helpchat).
The low quality wayspots may be difficult to get removed, as removal criteria are different from acceptance criteria)
Yes, I submitted reports for most of them, but I was notified that a few of them were rejected.
This photo shows why these wayspots registered multiple wayspots at different angles in the same structure, and this is an obvious cheating act. It strongly requests not only to delete all of the spots, but also the account system of the uploaded account.
I don’t think that I agree with considering this as abuse, but as said the reviewing and nomination quality in this area does leave room for improvement.
There is a good picture attached to this wayspot, showing all the structures (so duplicates should be easy to identify.
Please know that it could be possible that the wayspot was nominated at the correct position, but flagged as duplicate and as a result added to the wrong location.
Ok but you should check

35.171761, 128.816044

I’m just a forum member, not staff, but looking at the first two (did not check the others), these look like misplaced.
