The objective:
This report pertains to 20 sculptures in the same corridor that are all wayspots. The goal is to correct all of the information pertaining to these wayspots, which includes: restoring the retired wayspots, retire duplicates, correct all locations, fixing one title.
Some background:
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport has underground pedestrian walking tunnels that connect the Concourses together. Each underground pedestrian walking tunnel has its own permanent art or historical information installation.
This post concerns the 20 Zimbabwe sculptures that have been located in the underground pedestrian walking tunnel between Concourse T & A for over 25 years. All 20 sculptures are each a wayspot, however, approximately 2 months ago, some of the wayspots were mysteriously retired, and others were mysteriously moved to incorrect locations. The coordinates of these “mysteriously incorrect” locations are incidentally, locations that the wayspots were PREVIOUSLY located at in the database (they were incorrect locations), before I had done my airport cleanup sweep years ago, as if an internal ctrl+z hiccup occurred.
What the T-A corridor looked like a few months ago (before the Mysterious Event)…:
What the T-A corridor looked like July 16th (sometime after the Mysterious Event), wayspts retired or moved to incorrect locations…:
1) Restore the retired wayspots
These two wayspots were incorrectly retired:
Wayspot title: Hwata (Secretary Bird)
Location when retired: 33.640832,-84.441149
(Correct location info is in section 3.)
Wayspot title: Protected Family
Location when retired: 33.640857,-84.440741
(Correct location info is in section 3.)
2) Retire the duplicate wayspots.
Some of the sculptures have two wayspots currently displayed on the Wayfarer Map. Please remove the newer duplicate (because if the wayspots were at the correct locations on the map, it is unlikely the new duplicate would have been nominated to begin with or accepted):

3) Correct locations for all sculptures
In the last few years, there were renovations done to this corridor (ie: old and new photos show different carpet), during that time the order of some of the sculptures were changed. Here is a recent July 2026 video showing all 20 sculptures in the corridor, please use this as the main reference for location verification:

4) Title fix for The Council Statue
All of these sculptures have official titles. The official title is displayed on an infosign at the base of each sculpture. The wayspot titles reflect this for all except for one–the wayspot currently titled The Council Statue. The correct title is Conversation.
As the wayspot is currently not a Pokestop/etc, it is not possible for me to place a text edit through the normal route. So it would be great since you are already looking at all of these wayspots, if the title for this one could be updated with these other updates.
Thank you for reading through this and taking the time to understand.
