I was worried you were trapped in 1857.
Not every park has one of these, but every now and then I come across one. A place only ever has one tho. I can totally imagine someone (me, a kid, anyone) excitedly saying “I want to go sit on the butterfly bench.”
So I researched if they’re mass produced. And if so, why aren’t there more of them.
$5500, that’s why.
My bench swings nomination was accepted. Plainly a place to gather and have fun.
@elijustrying has bullied me into walking from Dunbar to South Queensferry to submit trail markers. I’ll do that 40ish miles in a day at some point this summer… Maybe
just watch out for over zealous, effluent-spraying farmers if you make camp along the way
