They removed my PokéStop

Recently, when opening the map, I noticed that my Pokéstop had been removed. The thing is, I was the one who sent it, not me who removed it. I didn’t receive any notification that it was removed, and it had been in the game since the beginning of the year.

When wayspot got removed, it usually happen because someone report it . the submitter wont receive any notification.

That said, it seems to be church and i have no ide why it got removed. Its possible that property owner request it to be removed but only wayfarer staff can tell.

I am moving your post to appeal area because that for appealing removed wayspot.

Okay, thank you very much.
You can move
I found it strange, it was accepted in month 2 and then suddenly disappeared, it disappeared a few weeks ago.
Note that I am the owner of the PokéStop that submitted the request to join the game; I am not the owner of the church/institution.

Please wait for staff to respond, it might take a while. In the meantime, If you have proof /newest photo that the church is still operational, i suggest you to post it here.

It may be a translation issue but individual wayfinders are not owners of wayspots or pokestops.

Otherwise wait for staff comment

Hey @Ll0N ,

This Wayspot was removed because it was submitted using a third-party image taken from the web of a location that doesn’t exist here.

Please note that these are violations of our policies and may lead to severe sanctions on your Wayfarer and game accounts.

Best,

But the place does exist; it’s not a third-party image.

It is a third party image and the object in the image doesn’t exist at this location.

I sent the link, the photo of the church’s facade, the photo showing the surrounding area, and you’re going to say it doesn’t exist?

The location you submitted the wayspot at is not the location of the church it was intended to represent. This is clear from the image in your opening post.

Now that the main problem has been resolved I would like to add…

You are not the owner of the Pokestop. The owner is “Scopely Explore” who has the right to do with it what they wish, this includes the photo etc you took which you have given permission to them.

I really don’t know which location you used for the wayspot, I can see the building in streetview.

It’s not the same building.

Ah, now I see it, the windows are different!
