Most likely the Machine Learning AI is declining the nomination due to it not meeting criteria. If you got an email with a rejection from “our team” then thats what happened. As others have said unfortunately mailboxes dont meet any criteria and typically arent distinct and are just generic (which is why you might get a rejection for “generic business” or “not temporary/distinct” if it did reach community voting since unfortunately we dont always have the best way to clearly define why its being rejected and just have to yse whats available) It has nothing to do with any other factor than wayfarer criteria. I typically recommend new explorers to look at the Criteria Clarification Collection as that helped me build my eye for what could be a good wayspot.
