I recently received a warning because my trail marker nomination was considered not to meet the eligibility criteria. However, I’ve seen similar trail markers accepted, and I’ve even submitted identical ones in the past that were approved.
Furthermore, the stated reason for the rejection mentioned that it contained offensive language toward a group, which is clearly false.
I genuinely don’t understand why this specific nomination was deemed ineligible, and more importantly, why it triggered a warning on my account.
This is one of those rejection texts that is unhelpful. It covers several different things in one overall misleading narrative. For example, included is if a third-party photo is used, which is considered abuse and is a reasonably common reason for /this/ rejection and people getting confused by it.
if you want assistance about why this nomination was rejected, please share the submission text, supporting text and photos. (A screenshot of the submission is not sufficiently helpful.)

Chemin très fréquenté par les randonneurs avec ces panneaux jaunes placés tout au long du sentier de randonnée pour indiquer la route à suivre aux randonneurs. Ce sont des balises permanentes.
Here is the description and the additional information (in French).
It says: The reviewers cited the following main reasons for rejecting this nomination:
The text or photo contains insults, mockery, or harassment targeting an individual or a specific group.
Hi @Patoulatchess, we have gone through the submission again and have revoked the warning. We apologize for the incovenience caused.
We advise you to resubmit the nomination by improving the supporting text. Such trail signs can be confusing to determine whether they are official trail route signs or not. As a fellow Wayfinder, I would suggest to include an official trail website in the supporting text which would increase the odds of approval.
Thank you for the reversal and the quick response!
Could you please tell me what caused the warning? Was it reported by a reviewer, or was it something else?
Since he mentioned improving supporting text, chances are you go hit with a bunch of “Bad description” from reviewers, then went to a staff member who had may have been unfamiliar with the locale, and shot you the warning
