Additional Information: This Bike Shop was a gym previously for years and is a huge part of the Polish community in Slavic Village. We have a lot of people who bike here. I do not understand why this gym was taken away. I added this as a new contribution for a Pokestop and has been filed as Not Accepted. I already appealed it but it has been a while and I have not had an answer back.
Hey there! I also live in Cleveland (America’s greatest city, as you know), and according to their own Facebook page, it looks like this shop is closed permanently. That is probably why it wasn’t accepted. I would encourage you to look for nearby things that could be eligible, and if you want, I’m happy to check the place out on Google street view to help tomorrow. Just let me know.
Digging in to this waay more that I expected to. You could still nominate the murals on the building, provided they are still there. The business was open for over 50 years serving that community.
You could write a really cool and heartwarming description at the same time paying homage to the business owner who recently retired and I believe that mural would be an excellent point of interest.
This is a phenomenal idea! I doubt those murals are going anywhere anytime soon, and based on the Facebook page alone, this guy is a legend.
Thank you guys for some of your replies. I love this idea of the mural! This bike shop is very near and dear here in Slavic Village. It’s a shame that it is completely closed now. I will try and think of something to pay homage to the previous owner.
