Hey, I’m trying to get a stop moved, not drastically, just so it’s maybe useful, all the pokemon in the nearby are at that stop but it’s just out of range, same with lures, it let’s me lure the stop but I see nothing for the duration.

It is not possible to move the location of the pokestop for game play reasons such as you describe. The placement has to re,AIn where the object is.
Please don’t attempt to do this or you may get a sanction on your game account.
If you find anything closer that meets criteria then it may be possible to create a new pokestop closer but do seek advice here first as there are some tricky hoops to go through.
But the stop is called “the park” where I’m trying to move it to is still in the park.
How does it work if the thing in the picture of the stop isn’t there anymore? And never was over that side of the park.
Wayfarer is not just about pokemon go. So its not related. Whats you called not useful in pokemon go might be useful in other game.
Its also to prevent edit war where one person like it near one side where other like on the other side. Edit location can only be used for correction but not for convenience for certain people.
Disclaimer: i got suspension before because i try to move wayspot away from its real location “across” the street for “game purpose”
The picture is just illustrating the park and what is there so moving the pin within the park is only being done for game advantage.
There could be someone on the opposite direction who currently can reach it but if you move it they will be in the position you are in now and they will want it back.
Think about how you might feel if the roles were reversed, and also if several people were trying to pull a pin in their direction.
You can certainly add a new picture to up date it if you like.
but in order to move pokestop you need to understand how it works and when

You have come to this wayfarer forum for help with your pokestop “problem”. We will naturally talk about it in terms of wayfarer.
You are getting good advice as we are trying to prevent a situation where you receive a sanction on your Pokemon Go account such as a suspension or ban.
As far as Wayfarer and Pokemon Go is concerned from what you have described there is nothing that needs fixing with this pokestop.
It is up to you if you want to take that advice or not but I strongly suggest you do.
