On a serious reponse from me… if Ingress players do get any form of challenges, I do hope they get something decent.

in the past, the ingress rewards tended to be more generous so hopefully they would. I’m not sure how much eng effort will e available to facilitate challenges for the much smaller user base though and that’s the real hurdle

Perhaps a stupid question but will the existing Wayfarer PoIs remain / be synced to Niantic Spatial?

I doubt Spatial will want to start building a new map from scratch, especially for established Ingress players.
