Hello and Welcome @Faringos60 It is very frustrating when you receive a rejection email. Please try to remain respectful. The wording in the email is standard across a number of different reasons. The most common being A mispinned location, photo from a 3rd party source or a fake. so that the community can try to help can you provide the coordinates in the email that acknowledged receipt. And the full size submission photo. You can verify it yourself. The coordinates where you submitted the nomination are available in the confirmation email you would have received when you submitted this nomination. Hope this helps. That day the street was closed. Nevertheless, I took a good photo. And since you verified it actually exists, you could have easily moved it to the right location (it s in your possibilities), rather than just ruining players works. ---

Making sure that the nomination is correct is down to the submitter. You are implying that your location was incorrect by stating that staff should have corrected and not Rejected. This is not staffs job. If the Park exists then you can re-submit but this time make sure that you use the correct details. Otherwise it would be quite simple to edit your comment to… “If you can’t nominate properly, causing troubles to so many other trainers, please step aside. It would be wiser.” ☹ ---

When I review, if something is out of place, I m not going to think about someone manipulating the gameboard and abusing it. If I find it in the nearbies, I simply place it in the correct location. If I can’t find it, I reject it for misplacement. To me abuse mean some much more serious violation. ---

Submtiing a fake wayspot _in order to get an extra pokestop_ is abuse. Mislocating something _in order to get an extra pokestop_ is abuse. Which of these do you think is a more serious violation given they have the same outcome? ---

That Pokestop would have appeared anyway. And no, you can’t compare a misplacement to a fake one. ---

When the correct location would mean the wayspot is unused in Pokemon Go, mislocating it in order to get an extra pokestop is abuse. You get a pokestop which would not have appeared anyway. This is the same result as for a fake wayspot. Different method, same result. ---

Not going to report. There are also several misplacements for wayspots that would still become pokestops in the wrong position. I just correct them. ---

There is a difference with location “errors”. Examples. A: A coffee shop on the high street where you accidentally place it 2 doors doors, this is in the same cell so will make no difference to the Proximity Rules. B: Same coffee shop but it’s cell and those surrounding are occupied. Nominator pins it 2 streets away in to an empty cell. A should be “moved”. B, whilst there is still a small chance it was in error it is more likely that it was “mis-placed” on purpose to try and get another stop which is Abuse. Unfortunately this happens often enough that the rare “mistake” in these cases are treated the same as the majority. ---
