The present location is incorrect. Presently it is positioned in inaccessible area behind a private parking lot under a tree. A garden sundial logically wouldn’t be placed there. You can see that on Google Street View and satellite photos at https://maps.app.goo.gl/cvoCBgnP3rMc8sFu8

The correct location of this sundial is inside of “Bellevue Sobriety Garden” at 40.737948, -73.974544. You can see photos of this sundial in better context on Google Maps’ photos of this park at

Location edits can now be appealed via Contribution Management. If the correct location is over 10 meters away, you can submit a location edit request via help chat on the Wayfarer website.

There’s no ability to appeal. Such button doesn’t exist.

You can’t appeal edits in the forums anymore. You will have to either wait until you have another appeal available, or, if the location is over 10 meters away, request an edit via help chat.

The Wayspot Appeals forum is only to appeal a rejected Wayspot removal request, or to request that a valid Wayspot that was removed be restored to the map.
