Additional Information (if any) As part of the PNR Clark–PNR Calamba Railway Project, residential lands surrounding the Bancal Extension Chapel have been acquired to pave the way for improved railway infrastructure. The expansion supports the development of new stations, tracks, and transport facilities, aimed at easing congestion and boosting regional growth.
Demolition has begun in certain sections, but progress remains gradual due to residents who are hesitant to relocate. Despite strong emotional ties to their homes, relocation is mandated under the government’s Right of Way policy.
For safety reasons, residents are strongly advised to vacate designated areas promptly. Construction zones will involve heavy machinery, extensive groundwork, and fast-moving trains, posing serious risks to anyone nearby. The government prioritizes public safety and urges compliance with relocation efforts to prevent accidents or disruptions.
