Wayspot Removed

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Triangle Free Little Library

  • Location (lat/lon): 45.021398010803885, -92.98780480201223

  • City: North Saint Paul, MN

  • Country: United States

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): I just went onto Pokemon Go and my wayspot I created is missing. I never received an email or anything stating why it’s gone, but then it just vanished.

Welcome to the forum

The submitter of a wayspot never gets told if it gets removed. This is probably to avoid alerting abusive submitters and prompting them to resubmit ineligible/fake wayspots.

The pin location you have given is blatantly inside a private single=family residence, as it is squarely in the middle of the house. Are you sure this is the location you submitted this wayspot at? The coordinates will be in the initial receipt email. I would be extremely surprised if Scopely Explore accepted it at that location.

Regardless of where the pin was placed, this LFL is clearly on single family private residential property on street view and should not have been accepted.

There are home listings identifying this as single family as well.

Staff may have realized this was incorrectly accepted in internal review, or someone may have seen the wayspot and reported it. Either way, it was correctly removed.

See Criteria Clarification Collection for further clarification on LFL’s and SFPRP issues.

Thanks for the appeal, @mister4292! We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
