Has anyone else noticed that Wayspot reviews are taking much longer than usual lately?
Earlier, whenever a nomination went into voting, it would usually get accepted or rejected within around 48 hours. But now, it’s been over a week without any update, and a few of my nominations are still stuck on IN_QUEUE.
Just wondering if this is happening to others as well, or if there’s been any recent change to the review/voting process.
This is not true. The amount of time required for nomination to be reviewed will vary from time to time depending on how many reviewer in your area. In my area, its normal for review timing to be several weeks. Your nomination could also be approved faster if the nomination is clearly eligible so not many people choose skip
You are very lucky if your nomination got approved that fast but dont expect it to happen on every nomination.
This is intended behaviour. When certain nomination in certain area enter “in voting”, all other nomination nearby will remain “in queue” until the one in voting got resolved. This will prevent review pool to be dominated by nomination from certain area at the same time.
