It seems that duplicate Wayspots change into Power Spots after achieving certain conditions and at regular intervals. There is no official announcement. From what I have learned from the community, only 2 Power Spots appear in 14 cells. And it is said that duplicate Wayspots in 17 cells can appear as Power Spots, but they can only appear as Power Spots when the distance between them is 22m. It is also not clear whether the period is random. However, if you watch for a certain period of time, you can see that 2 similar duplicate Wayspot candidates or Power Spots automatically retrieved from Google Maps continuously appear within 14 cells. (Wayspot candidates automatically retrieved from Google Maps do not seem to have a 22m limit.) ---

Do you have any plans to restore candidates that were submitted as Wayspot candidates in Pokemon GO but are not listed on the contribution page and no application emails have been received? ---

I cannot comment on its feasibility at this time. From what I have seen, these nominations did not upload successfully to our servers. The team is aware of all the reports and will do their best to help. ---

UPDATE: Still no nomination emails, and nothing new coming up in my Contributions list…are they stuck in some server queue somewhere…? Will backups retrieve them? I don’t want to resubmit those because they may be active, but I also don’t want to add new ones until the “old” ones get submitted properly. Thank you. ---

I submitted 7 wayspots on the 14th of June at around 9:00am GMT (Lisbon, Portugal). I received emails for 3 of them at 3:45pm, and those 3 show on my Wayfarer Contributions: - Campo de Ténis - Ohai Resort - Caixa Postal - Ohai Nazaré - Parque Aquático - Ohai Nazaré But I never got an email and cannot see the remaining 4 (approximate names from memory): - Mural Natureza - Ohai Resort - Campo de Padel - Ohai Resort - Voleibol - Ohai Resort - Treino Ninja - Ohai Resort “Mural Natureza” I submitted straight away. The other 3 I used the upload later option. This was a vacation spot I went to over the weekend, so I am unlikely to return there in the near future. I also don’t think I can submit again from my home due to the distance. ---

Hello! I’ve been submitting a handful of nominations recently, and two days ago I submitted 2 or 3 that never went through. I submitted them through Pokémon Go and I got the message saying I’ll get a confirmation email shortly. But I never got that email, and the nominations I filled out in-game never appeared on my Contributions page. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue recently. I was able to submit nominations today and yesterday, so this isn’t a world-ending problem.. But I wanted to know if anyone knows what could have happened (especially since this has never happened to me before). Thank you! ---

There is already a bug-report going on in another topic on this specific kind of issue. Mods wil probably put your comment in that topic as well. As for the bug, staff is aware of the issue and is currently investigating it, updatess are in the already ongoing topic about this. ---
