I can not get a spot to be accepted .. it’s hard because I feel like some one is attacking my spots because I have a spot on a community path and bench it’s on public paths and the wayfarer thing keeps saying a human keeps saying it’s private when it’s not other issues is that spots are being rejected because of the max spots I think they need to made permanent points or a system of the wayfarer needs to be made more similar for kids because it’s for kids and adults .. but was mostly made for kids..
The signs and area I live in does not have enough signs trials and other so I have no idea the heart sign is a sign but online tells me it’s not good enough so I don’t know if there is any places sign trials and more because the areas I live are not really looked after domi let’s the back paths in are area to go to hell as in they let the spaces weeds and plants come throught paths and they only make the front look good .
IAM sad to say I live in Denmark and it’s a different language wondering if it’s the language and bot or does the bot know danish language I tryed in English and got reported by people in area so IAM still learning danish so I have to go online to use translate ..
We need to make it more simple to make spots but humans nintec only allow approved places . Because we can make them but you need to approve . Don’t allow others to approve because they can stop people from enjoying the game by abusing the report and stopping people from making spots happen when they are not private they public places and community walking paths so yea I don’t understand why it keeps happening but I think it’s because the people who review or look at spots are allowed to report spots and with this they can control the area . IAM worried that the game will be controlled by people who don’t like Pokémon go ..hugs
Kids and adults that live this game want to enjoy it and having abuse or bullying in general spots or other I think the system needs to have max spots permanent on its own making spots or something else beacuse now it’s harder to make spots because this and that with people reporting spots too ..hugs all IAM bad explaining things because IAM I’ll in head but I try. If you share complete detail on your nomination (title, description, original foto, surrounding foto, information, location), we will be able to advise if its possible to improve your nomination..
In the other hand, if you disagree with your nomination review result, you can appeal. Wayfarer staff will review appeal. You have 2 appeals, each with 15days cooldown
I would love to know where you got this statistic. I was unable to find a specific details but most agreed that the majority of PoGo players are in the 20 to 40 age bracket.
In the forum you can use your own language, it has a translator function other can use. When submitting you should use the normal language for the area.
There are not that many rules, once you understand the criteria eligible nominations become clerear.
All reports are looked at by Human staff and must show evidence.
It seems that you have had some bad experiences using wayfarer my suggestions would be.
A: Before you submit create a post in “Nomination Support” showing the Images, Title, Description, Supplemental and Location you plan to use. People here will advise whether that is “It’s good to go”, “Needs improvements” or “does not meet criteria”.
B: Create a post in “Nomination Support” asking for suggestions. State the general location (DO NOT USE YOUR HOME ADDRESS). Long / Lat works best and can be got from right mouse on Google Maps. People here will scour the maps and make suggestions. Some locations just don’t have anything eligible but this is rare.
Well I believe kids and adults play because families have phones to keep safe.. also to play games the thing is kids do have phones and from what I can see is sometimes adults try to stop Pokémon go spots because they keep giving wrong evidence thing is a community walking paths is not private . [MOD edit to remove personal information] I try my best to have fun with game but it’s hard to help make spots when people look in area on map and report spots or have taken down .. or maybe staff use the spots for max spots..
If anything we have lesser ways to make spots now and if there is no unique items at all and signs are a requirement and they get rejected as in not approved . The. I start to think why .. the items are long lasting and are needed are unique .. then I do them and still nothing so I keep trying last time I got banned for trying because one person just said keep making the spot … And then I was told .. to appeal only .. so yeps. IAM always confused .. because I do the right thing .. and some thing bot or human is rejected my spots to many places that are area unique community and parks. Too issue is
We need to have spots for people who don’t have unique or history or signs trials so on if they don’t have them then how are they ment to play .. it’s not fair .. and with the tracking that’s been going on on map and reported as private yet it’s not … Makes me not want to make spots anymore. Because I work good to translate and other stuff to get history and so on and still not good enough
I will start by saying that I am in my 50s and play most solo and I have met many others the same.
I have stated before that for me the main reason I play PoGo is not “the Game” it is the encouragement to get out.
Without examples (Full screen grabs showing all the info) we can not comment but this might sound blunt but in the vast majority of these type of posts it is the Submitter that is wrong. Either not understanding the Criteria or just making bad nominations.
Please post the full details, we are not here to mock we prefer to advise on how to get you submission through but unfortunately we may have to inform that it just isn’t suitable due to 1 reason or another.
At the moment all we know is that you are not have a good time with Wayfarer, let people help improve this. Get a couple of acceptances and I am sure you will feel better about it.
Something being unique is not enough for it to be a wayspot. Something being in a park is not enough for it to be a wayspot.
Every wayspot must meet criteria and eligibility (i.e., not fail on any rejection criteria).
In order to be accepted, a wayspot has to not fail any of the rejection criteria
- it has to be safely accessible to pedestrians
- it can’t be on school grounds, single-family private residential property, farmland
- it has to exist at the location given
- it has to have a reasonably accurate title and description
- the photo cannot contain licence plates, identifiable people, unnecessary animals
- it cannot represent something that already has a wayspot
- the photo must be one that you took and have not posted elsewhere
- it has to be reasonably distinct, not just a random location
It also has to meet one of the key criteria
- Exploration
- Exercise
- Social
Something can meet the key criteria but be rejected because it fails one of the rejection tests.
Something can pass all the rejection reasons but still not be eligible because it simply isn’t meeting criteria. Please have a look at these for understanding what makes a good wayspot.
