What’s the rejection reason?

If it was rejected by the “automated process”, resubmit with another photo focusing more on the table.

This place is absolutely perfect for a Waystop, the field is a community green space that was purchased for the people of Shaw by the Vicar and his wife and is used daily by hikers, joggers, kids, dog walkers and even including myself as a part time metal detectorist (with permission obviously!) I would also like to know why I am unable to appeal the decision - I’ve only ever appealed a decision once and it was accepted, so why cant i appeal this?

Yeah this is ML rejection. Honestly the photo looks good enough but their ML model can be finicky at times. Either resubmit with a new photo (from a different angle) or appeal.

If you do resubmit, some reviewers may be unhappy with overgrown grasses. As a good citizen you may want trim it down a bit :wink:

Thanks, I’m super new to this so appreciate the response, its used as a wild meadow over the summer (with public footpath running through the middle) and a “foot traffic” circle around the perimeter, hence the long grass. This is a satellite view from google maps. Any ideas why i am unable to appeal the decision?

This is good info to mention in the appeal/supplemental info. The circular path shows that it’s visited frequently.

There should be an appeal button bottom (mobile) or top right (desktop)

That’s weird. Have you appealed recently? We get two appeals each refreshed every 15 days.

Ive appealed once, and it was accepted…ah no maybe twice, so that would make sense ( I’ve only been reviewing a couple of weeks) its quite addictive being a super sleuth! My daughter and I love going out hunting for potential Wayspots - since joining I’ve lost nearly a stone so every cloud and all haha

Is there a timeframe for appeal? (I.e if i have to wait.15 days can i still appeal this one?)…

Yeah need to wait out full 15 days (from the day you appealed, not when appeal decision was made) even for accepted appeal. Appeal refreshes midnight GMT so no need to check multiple times a day if you’re too anxious haha
