How on earth is a newer person to the forum supposed to know why a specific ambassador has not logged in? That question is antagonistic to someone trying to genuinely answer the question for you.
The moderators of this forum may assume good faith of the questions you ask. I do not.
This is the most high horse comment I’ve ever seen.
People lose faith in this community because of attitudes like this.

Even if this thread feels like lava to step in for an Ambassadors I will give you my personal insight why I choose to be an Ambassadors and what I think I do here.
My wayfarer journey started in April 24 by reaching the correct pogo level and press “add new pokestop” to look what they might want to know. I have been a pogo player for one year. So newish to all that stuff.
I love to read and research everything so I found the forum and started to ask and be arround. After a short while I recognized repeated questions by new users (like I was and asked) and helped to answer them.
One year later I choose to apply to the program to continue helping with the knowledge of how it feels to be new. On top I’m a German and can answer those questions in native language.
I understand myselve still as the community member I’ve been before plus that I try to read the room and say everywhere I can “the community says…”, “the community wants…”, “the community would like…”.
As an moderator I try to make especially for the new users an environment where they feel safe to ask and participate. I merge together or split, change categories and explain why I did that and sometimes I write articles like the set up one if there’s an overall value.

Thank you for this link. It very accurately describes the actions of one or more people who post on these forums. I had never come across that phrase before, so it is good to have a recognised term for it.
I am sorry but I do not see how it is a high horse answer when calling it a shape as a shape.
