Why does this juice bar keep getting rejected by the AI

To me it is a good place to socialize, a good stop after some walking or jogging and have a refreshing drink. specially for the pokemon go, pikmin or monsters hunter player that been walking in a hot summer day.

ML is currently not reviewing nominations, so it may not have been rejected by it. If it was rejected by ML, the email would usually say “our team” instead of “our community.”

Are you able to share your entire nomination with us? Juice bars are not always guaranteed to be accepted, and there could be some things that may need to be improved upon.

I do see that this is on Street View from March 2025, so it appears to be a permanent food truck. Food trucks that are permanent can sometimes be harder to get passed ML and the community, as they don’t see them as such at times. It’s also listed as a business on Google Maps, and they do have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/p/Fruit-Island-100090721938036/ as well as an Instragram: https://www.instagram.com/fruitislandpr/?hl=en It doesn’t seem to be a chain, and does appear to be a local stand.

I would have also noted that the seating outside is permanent in either the description or supporting info, but since you did appeal this already, that can’t be added, but it’s also minor.

Staff has asked us to post about appeal team decisions we disagree with here in the forums, so it’s possible that staff could take another look at this.

I have removed some discussion around whether Emily, the auto review process, is in action as it was distracting from the original question posted.

To clarify, and no need for further comment in this topic…..

This is the a post by the wayfarer team explaining that Emily had been switched on again but was not quite functioning as intended

To get back on track :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

So yes @gwenome65 yours was rejected by the auto process.

If you would like some advice as to whether appeal the rejection or to try again with a fresh photo and reworked text please do post here.
I think the main issue to address will be if it is permanent, so evidence about this location will be key.
