Why my approved Wayspot is not showing in Pokemon GO? - Hyderabad

Nomination Support

Hello Wayfarer Team,

I got a nomination approved but it is not showing up as a Pokestop in Pokemon GO.

Wayspot Name: Khoja Shia Isna Ashri Jamat - Imam Bargah Mehfil-e-Hussaini
Location: Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan

It was approved 2 days ago and I can see it on the Wayfarer map, but not in game. I checked and there is no other Pokestop in the same S2 cell.

Can you please explain why it is not appearing and what I can do?

Thank you for your help.

Hello and welcome @maozzamsamo

Can you please provide the location - it can be found in the email confirmation of submission just under the photograph.

We can then check and explain.

Hello and Welcome,

As you seem to be aware of the “Proximity Rules” then I only see 3 possibilities…

  • You are not checking the official map or mis-understanding the rules and it is not in it’s own cell.
  • There is a “Property Owner Request” geo-block at the location.
  • The wayspot was quickly removed after approval as it was found not to meet criteria.

As stated, we can probably state which if you supply the location long/lat.

Good Luck
