Every player is advised to use common sense, and be aware of the surroundings.
So players who don`t feel safe, should not use that path.
As you said, there are times when it is safe to go there, so there is no need to remove the wayspot.
It is different when a place can never be reached safely (on the street, in the water etc)

Just because you can’t comfortably use it doesn’t mean no one can. Wayspots do not have to be accessible to everyone. Some people love hiking through the woods.

Some of the most fun I’ve had playing PG was accessing and capturing a gym that is difficult to do so. I’m still in it, nearly 900 days later.

This is not reason for removal. Wayspot are allowed in places which only accesible during certain period of time.
All this is ok for wayspot. If you cant access it on cold weather, dont access it.

Seriously, if someone does what I did and reaches it to boot me out, then they get my full respect, and I’ll happily take the +21637 to my gym leader badge.
I just don’t mention the name because there will probably be some vindictive spoofer reading. That would be a bit of a crap way to end the run.
