In Oxnard the city got different artists to convert the decommissioned payphones into different artworks. I submitted three, one got approved and the other two didn’t, even with appeals; why?
It looks cool, but I suggest you resubmit with more detail about the art and artist
You can provide link in supporting info about the art. It will help reviewer understand more detail about it. Otherwise people are gonna think you decorate telephone booth in order to make wayspot.
Just to be clear, it’s “not accepted”, not “accepted and subsequently removed”, right?
Well , put yourself in reviewer shoes. If i submit similar thing and said it was created by famous artist, how do you verify it? Where do you got all description in the nomination, is it your word or from the artist? The onus is on submitter to provide enough evidence to convince reviewer. If you can provide link about the art, it has way more credibility than just word.
I see that makes sense; would’ve been nice if they said that in the rejection instead of a robot response that makes it seem like a human didn’t even look at it
