Hello @RobinArk
Just like what there was previously for Ingress data, the community has developed tools to assist with the wayfarer map. Search the internet for Wayfarer Tools and hopefully that will answer your question ![]()
We use these tools as an overlay on the official map:
Standard Warning: This is not aimed at the OP or anyone in particular…
Do not use the knowledge of cells to mis-place nominations to try and get them in to the game. You are risking Warnings / Suspensions on both Wayfarer and GAME accounts.
Knowledge of cells should only be used so that you are pre-aware whether a nomination is likely to be a stop / gym or a powerspot.
It can also be used where certain points of interest have more than 1 legitimate location. Example: Sports Field. It is recommended to place at the edge but off the field of play. This could give an option of more than 1 cell.
Once a nomination has been accepted and the location is seen as Acceptable you should not attempt to move it for game purposes. This can also risk your accounts. Location edits should only be attempted when the current location is incorrect. Example: From the field of play to the side.

Hello and welcome @331800
The wayfarer team won’t comment on any of these tools.
Community observations are that the one you are suggesting has flaws with the way the map is rendered and also the flaw of user mistakes with inputting data. Using the wayfarer map provided by wayfarer removes those chance for error as it is using the source data directly.
Yes, of course, I understand!
The fact that this site is not an official one and can very easily be manipulated or fed with false data is undisputed.
I’ve simply enjoyed using it to see whether there’s still room in villages for a monument next to a church or a volleyball court next to the football pitch.
Of course, the official route is better and should always be used.
In the days before the wayfarer map I had issues using the Intel Maps so I happily used Pogo Map. I did not have any of the map issues people mention. The bid problems was the accuracy and that is was so out of date. With the Intel maps not being 100% for PoGo I say it has 6 of 1, half dozen of the other.
Now with the Wayfarer Maps and the available tools I see no reason to use anything but Wayfarer. Just need them to add the sponsored wayspots ![]()
