How to change this?
You cannot ask for a wayspot to be moved just to put it in a different cell. That is abuse. Is that the only reason you want it moved? Is the pin correct to the real location?

How to change this? It is a real place, the wayfarer accepted it, but it is in the wrong location.
I realize you are new to the forum, but don’t post everywhere.
Cells do not matter to staff. They only care about the location being correct in the real world.

You do not need to reach out with multiple threads for the same concern. I will merge this with the other conversation you started as folks have started responding there.
As I said it, it’s wrong in the real world.
I can’t see the wall there from street view. If you have evidence, like location tagged photos or video that the pin should be where you say it is, you can ask help chat to move it.
Go to https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help and a text box will pop up where a bot will ask for some information. Do not mention cells. Only tell them that the Wayspot is incorrectly placed and give them the photos.
They will compare your evidence with what they can see in other sources and can move it if they determine that it would be a real life correction.

This really looks like its in correct place. If its not,you need to take picture showing both mural and next building necause the mural seems in that building. Please know that missplacement of wayspot submission is subject to abuse ladder system and punishable by warning / suspension for both wayfarer and pogo
I can’t see this being moved to the place where you desire to be fair. It seems to be very close to where it should be located.

If the real world location is wrong by less than ten meters, you can submit a correction request in game.
(It appears the stop is in front of the building? this would be like, moving it to the actual wall.)
I did this for a mural that I mispinned to the center of the building when it was on the interior side of an exterior wall. (It was my very first pokestop, correction was months later.) They moved it a couple of days later.
(It did happen to also move to a different cell, but that’s because the cell line runs through the middle of the building, and my wrong pin was just slightly over the line.)
If it’s a longer distance - such as in the neighboring building (I have corrected two like that, both not originally submitted by me), use the help chat in wayfarer. These are usually resolved within one day.
Sorry for asking in an old thread - I noticed scanning the Wayfarer map that a not in game POI is at an obviously wrong location. I did find this page Process Change: Requesting Location Edits >10m
But seems like it might be an old process. How can I suggest submit a report of the wrong location? It is a POI for a plaque on the birth house of a German author Ida Boy-Ed.

No that’s not in use anymore. You can use help chat instead, which you can acces through the help page in the wayfarer website

Just to followup - submitting the report via help chat was a very good experience - its good that it’s free form in what you can attach, and also able to give it map links. It gave a ticket number but unfortunately, when I went back to write it down, the entire chat history was gone. Is there any way to find out the ticket number after the fact? Or will they just notify me via email? (I didn’t get an email acknowledgement of the submission).
I’m glad to hear that for the most part you had a good experience with Help Chat. I think they have a pretty good system. With the exception of the ‘refresh’ or whatever happens. My lesson learned is to take a photo of the ticket number. If o have that, I can either go back to help chat and reference it or come here and ask about it.
Will I receive an email with the result? Or how long should it normally take before they correct the wrong location? Would just check back in the map. Don’t know if it would actually result in a new in game stop, as it looks to be just on the border of two cells.
