(Please answer only regular users of Niantic products related to POIs) Hello again everyone! Yesterday’s conversation made me think whether simply following the Wayfarer rules corresponds to the idea behind the POI. I have always perceived Niantic games as an opportunity to explore interesting and…

If this was on SFPRP, then it never met criteria. Next.

Assuming this is in Sandia Park in New Mexico, I think the Description could have been a bit better. Is there an information plaque describing what this is? Is there anything on the Park’s website describing thes objects (as in who designed it, etc)?

Private property did meet criterion in the past. There are probably several hundred portals around my house to demonstrate that fact. If you’re up for discussing this in good faith at any point in the future, let me know.

Past criteria acceptance doesn’t guarantee current or future acceptance.

No, it likely is private property. And “Sandia Park” is the name of the zip code. It’s not a park in the recreational sense.

Got it. If it’s truly on Single Family Private Property, it won’t get accepted, irrespective of previous acceptance criteria.

Understood. I accept that this portal isn’t a viable candidate today. Cyndiepooh asked for an example of something that was interesting and would have been acceptable in the past. This is my example.
