I recently had a nomination accepted, but it has not shown up in Pokémon GO, even though it’s placed in an empty cell. I’ve double-checked everything in-game and also used the Intel Map for reference.

And here’s the Intel Map view of the area (manually updated — I confirmed all PokéStops and Gyms are properly showing in-game):
As you can see, the cell where this was placed does not have any existing PokéStop or Gym. However, the new Wayspot still didn’t appear in Pokémon GO.
A friend of mine has faced the same issue in a different nomination in same area nearby:

so I’m wondering:
Is there a hidden limit on how many Wayspots can appear in a particular S2 cell in Pokémon GO?
Could there be another rule affecting India-specific locations? As Indonesia and india got many powerspot converted to pokestop, few new got added and all powerspot disappearing, they corrected it around same time half of powerspot appeared but is this created any other problems by which new accepted one not getting added?.
Or is this just a sync issue that sometimes takes longer?
I’d really appreciate clarification on why this accepted Wayspot did not appear despite being in what looks like an empty cell.
