Description of the issue:
There is an accepted Wayspot near Fröjas väg that is visible in third-party PoGo tools (IITC Mobile / PoGo Tools layer) but does not appear as a PokéStop in Pokémon GO, nor is it visible when navigating to the location on wayfarer.nianticlabs.com.
Current coordinates: 58.9002760, 17.9330190
Based on the S2 L17 cell overlay in IITC, this location sits almost exactly on the border of a cell that already contains an existing, active PokéStop — which appears to be preventing this Wayspot from syncing to the game.
This point sits clearly inside the neighboring, currently empty L17 cell (screenshots attached showing the cell boundary line relative to both points).

Additional notes: The Wayspot cannot be located via search on the Wayfarer map itself, so I’m unable to submit a location-edit suggestion through the normal self-service flow — hence this report.
Wayfarer staff do not acknowledge cell rules, and will not make adjustments for game reasons, only for real life physical world corrections. Requesting a location change for game manipulation can be seen as abuse.
If you do not see this point of interest on the Wayfarer map, then it is not a Wayspot.
The Getinggungan-stop is a completely different playground located besides Idunvägen.
The one I am talking about is a small playground besides Fröjas väg. They are absolutely not part of the same playground.

If they are not the same playground, then you should be able to submit it in the actual real world position. The fact that it is a portal in Ingress does not affect anything in Wayfarer, unless it was removed in Wayfarer for a valid reason.

I only checked IITC to check so I shouldn’t submit any duplicates, because AI said that I could get warnings for submitting nominations that already someone else nominated.
That is bad information. Duplicates happen. Multiple Wayfinders submit the same good point of interest frequently. The only time I could see submitting duplicates being considered abuse is if they are spam submissions submitted over and over and over.
If you are submitting a legitimate point of interest in the actual location where it exists, then there is nothing to worry about.
“AI” doesn’t know what it is talking about (quite literally). The processes that pull the data that is used to produce answers pull everything - nonsense, lies, exaggeration as well as genuine information. The results this produces can be nonsense, lies, exaggeration as well as genuine information.
There are indeed two playgrounds here, both in Ingress but only one in wayfarer. Maybe it was only submitted in Ingress after the split in May 2025?
The swings and sandpit (?) are eligible, exist and can be legitimately located in an empty cell. I cannot see an issue with submitting this.
