Just a weird one, i know where this area that the waypoint is, its in maryhill, in the g22 area, just north of glasgow
But for some reason its put its adress in shawlands, g42, which is actually in the sputhsidw of glasgow. I went and checked for myself and it is in the correct area (though not a pokestop, i had to do a stop aubmission and check the ones not in game to see it, though i forgot to get a screenshot), just weird the address is wrong in the showcase
The address can be wrong I have seen it many times. It’s something to do with it getting wrong info from google……don’t ask me what the technical side is. 
As @elijustrying says, it pulls address data from Google, and occasionally random parts of Google Maps can be incorrectly marked as wildly different locations.
I remember another issue with this on the old forum, where one specific part of a roundabout in Germany was incorrectly listed as an address that was several kilometres away.
If you can find the exact area that’s affected (they’re often extremely small areas), you can submit a correction on Google Maps, but given how small the areas can be, it’s not always easy to find the error.
I hadnt ever noticed it before lol, usually don’t pay much attention to the showcase but recognosed this one (and was a little surprised it got accepted as its really just a direction sign but fair enough lol) and was confised at the address lol
Oh I agree that this is simply a direction sign.
