Hello! I submitted my PokéStop a second time because my first attempt had a skewed photo. This time, I did it correctly, but the stop got automatically flagged and rejected. I’m a bit confused because a similar one was already accepted and is currently in the game.

Going onto the Wayspot. As I am unable to interpret what the title, description, etc is saying, it’s difficult to know what the sign is. Also, previous acceptances should not be used as a guarantee for future acceptances of something similar.

It’s a German street sign named after a famous person in your city. Under the street name—Geheimrat-Dr.-Schaedel-Straße—there’s an explanation of who he was and when he lived.
The discription says: “Street sign commemorating Geheimrat Dr. Schaedel (1844–1912), chief physician at the Deaconess Institute. It honors an important figure in local history.”
Thanks for the info. I am on the fence on this one. I generally vote down Street names, but I don’t know if this is an exception to the rule.
Hey, dein 2. Versuch hat ein grottenschlechtes Foto, dein erster Versuch hat sehr viel Grün auf dem Foto, das nichts mit der Einreichung zu tun hat. Versuche, so nah wie möglich zu kommen, ein bisschen zu zoomen und das Foto zuzuschneiden, sodass hauptsächlich das Schild im Fokus ist.
Es wäre auch cool, wenn du in der Beschreibung nicht einfach sagst, dass sich diese Person zu irgendwas in dem Thema verdient gemacht hat, sondern was genau. Dann werden Leute, sobald das an einen Menschen und nicht die KI geht, auch weniger Gründe finden können, das abzulehnen

I think the order that your photos have appeared in has confused some people, as I think the assumed a date order if the oldest first.
The first submission with the skewed photo has been posted second. I’m glad to read that you understand that this is not a good photo. 
Your second attempt ( the first photo in the post) is much better. 
We dont know exactly what elements in a submission trigger the auto review system ( nickname) Emily to reject. The best tactic is to simply put together the best submission you can and if it gets past Emily then you are presenting something good to the community to review, and if it doesnt your submission is in a good shape for staff to review.
You can choose to appeal this or resubmit. An appeal slot refreshes every 15 days.
The advice about how the photo is presented in a close crop with the sign dominating the photo is good if you decide to resubmit. As is presenting more information about why this individual is of special interest. That should either be part of a new submission or if you decide to appeal.
