We’re making some changes to the way Wayfinders submit Wayspots in Pokémon GO starting September 1, 2026. When attempting to submit Wayspots through Pokémon GO, Wayfinders and newly eligible Trainers will be linked out to the Wayfarer website where they’ll be able to submit using the Web Submission process. Moving over to our Web Submission process means a smoother, more consistent journey no matter if you choose to submit from desktop or mobile.

You will be sent to the Wayfarer site to nominate and can then select photos from your camera roll/photo library in that process. You don’t nominate directly in Pokémon GO now
