That’d be nice, but oh wait, there isn’t an official PoGo forum like there is for wayfarer…and no official campfire group that people can actually post in either…or any other equivalent. Not to mention it’s hardly clear where the boundary is between a wayfarer issue vs a game specific one.
No it wouldn’t. Including everything in some capacity doesn’t mean “make everything a pokestop.” Look at power spots, those allowed many formerly unused waypoints to have at least some degree of relevance. Or look at Pikmin Bloom, where all player submitted waypoints can give you postcards to send others, even if they aren’t directly visible.
Including everything doesn’t have to mean “make all the waypoints visible all the time.” It means making all the waypoints have some tangible impact on gameplay, even if they can’t always be seen directly in regular gameplay. Without that, lightship only waypoints have no real purpose outside of the niche scenario of, “Maybe they’ll show up if an existing waypoint gets deleted.”
Well, until there’s actually a place for people to make themselves heard on this, it’ll keep being brought up here. I’m hardly the only one who does. Might as well get used to it.
You okay dude? Maybe it’s just my interpretation, but you are coming across as somewhat agitated / aggressive, and there’s no need for that.
We don’t all agree and that’s okay. But bear in mind that PG is a ten year old game, so if changes to the way it pulls information from wayfarer do ever come, they will probably come very slowly.
There’s a lot of pokemon ‘stuff’ from the main games that will probably filter into Go at some point. Who knows how Scopely will implement it?
Probably the wrong time to ask, what with reports taking longer than normal due to the sheer amounts but is there a preferred method to report a location for re-balancing.
Is there a level that we should report such as…
1 cell with 2 active wayspots don’t report, they will deal when they can get round to it.
Multiple active wayspots in 1 cell or multiple over populated cells in the same area report.
I don’t want to cause more problems for staff so if staff want to state “Please hold off for the moment until we clear the back log” I am sure people would do just that.
