Hey,

Thank you for submitting a Wayspot nomination! While some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.

The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.

Please keep in mind that while this is a common reason, it is not the only one.

Best,

Not everything will appear in Pokemon Go due to proximity rules, to prevent the game becoming too crowded.

pero es posible hacer el ajuste de la ubicación,
aunque eh visto en otros lados que algunas están cercas y no afecta :person_shrugging:

Doing a location edit from a “correct” location is seen as Abuse and can get you accounts (including game accounts) suspended or even banned.

If the location is incorrect you can request a location edit in game.

Remember: If its already in a correct location trying to move even to another correct location is Abuse.

Your nomination may be used as a Powerspot in the future or even replace the current wayspot it that is legitimately removed.

In regards to waypoints that are close this can be due to…

  • Sponsored Wayspots.
  • 2 spots just at either side of the cell line.
  • Previous location edit which didn’t use to trigger a reset. Niantic are fixing these as and when found.

In case you are not aware of the S2 Cell rules in Pokemon Go more information can be found at https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/

Good luck for future nominations.
