Long established gym just disappeared today: “Stara pompa wodna na Osiedlu Jasna”, coords: [50.020903,21.008989] Google Maps. The other similar objects in this area wasn’t removed, funnily, new gym appeared in place of similar object: “Pompa wodna na Os Jasna” coords: [50.023168,21.011149], so I expect that this gym get removed due to report from some rogue player. These wayspots aren’t duplicate despite of having similar title, these are water features which allows people in summer to get drinking water. As far as I remember this wayspot (gym) origin comes from Ingress game (as lots of other wayspots in this area) long time before it was possible to add Wayspots from Pokemon GO itself.
Can you please explain exact reason of removal of this wayspot? If this is a bug or abuse can you return this wayspot & gym? I quickly went through eligible criteria as I didn’t use wayfarer for quite long time and I think it still eligible - Fountains and water features, accesible, public, great place to social with others.

Sorry to say that It has been removed, and even if returned is highly likely to not be a gym.
I think there is a misunderstanding because of the use of the word fountain and how it gets translated. The water pumps are simple utility items. The consideration around fountain being eligible for consideration refers to its use as decorative fountains.
So these items should not be accepted.
My best guess is that these ineligible items were reported by someone acting correctly.
You can make a case here to have its reinstated by proving it still exists at that location. I think the odds are not good because of what it is.
hi Elijustrying, thanks for reply, but I think these POIs were accepted 6-7 years ago and the criteria was different back then. I am still seeking if some rogue player decided to report that spot to get it removed or some ‘automatic’ clean up removed due to change of eligible criteria, especially as there are more similar POIs in this area and players would like to know if they disappear or not.
This information is not shared with us. But I would expect that this was a result of someone who genuinely thought (and rightfully so), that this wayspot was not eligible and should be removed.
It is not easy to remove a wayspot, Scopely will look at the evidence. So no, I don’t think it was a rogue player.
Only the wayfarer team will know the exact details.
I was doing OPR back then and I don’t recall a utility such as a water pump being eligible but happy to admit memory may be wrong as it would not be an item I would see much.
You should layout a case as to why this should be reinstated. It is helpful to have geotagged photos of the object in the context of its surroundings to prove it still exists there.
I added Google StreetView geo-tag, but it is from 2023, I’ll ask some player from this area to create up-to-date sphere if it is still eligible. Anyway, is that forum correct to raise request to re-instantiate POI or not? Or where we should write such request?
This is showing on streetview from 2023 and is unlikely to have been removed, so it is hard to know what evidence was provided to Scopely Explore. Since this was a gym, this means there is the possibility of an abusive removal request.
This is not a blatantly ineligible object, even if as a water pump it might not get accepted, so I don’t see how it meets removal criteria.
I would assume that photographic evidence was provided and try to counter that with evidence it still exists, such as a photo or video that has definitely been taken recently (including something to prove the date).
