Hello and Welcome,

IMO: This would be just images to show what the store is about, same as images of Fruit at a fruit shop.

Did you show evidence that these are unique photos of the staffs pets as reviewers should not just accept what is written without evidence.

Having images of pets on a pet store sounds extremely common to me…

Yeah, I’m afraid I also see this as normal decor for a pet shop / vets / etc., and I don’t think I would consider it a good place to explore (and it clearly doesn’t meet social or exercise criteria) if I were reviewing.

I could see someone assuming they’re generic stock photos or something. I’ve met 2 of these dogs lol they belong to a woman in the company that organizes community adoption events at the store. I dunno how I’d prove that though =\

I tried submitting one where I stated that the store regularly hosts community adoption events with local rescues. And saying the pics are of employees pets but I don’t think they believe it.

It is not a case of “I don’t think they believe it”.

Many people will say anything to try and get their nomination accepted, this is not to say that is what we believe is the case here but the only way to “try” and prevent it is to require evidence for everything.

I would expect some internet coverage if the adoption events are regular and you still will have different opinions of how often is regular?

In regards to the images, I am not sure who owns the dogs would make a difference. What about an hair dresser that takes pics of the clients and pins them to the wall, wouldn’t make it eligible.

You don’t have to show proof to us as we won’t be making any decision but these are what you have to consider when making an appeal to staff.

Without any evidence and the fact that it might still not be successful it might be time to walk away from this one.

That’s an excellent comparison. Lots of hairdressers around me have glossy pictures of customers and their hair in the window. This is equivalent to a pet store/vet having glossy pictures of dogs in the window.

They might attract customers, but neither of those make the place worth exploring.
