I submitted a wayspot roughly 1 week ago, only for it to be declined without stating a specific reason other than “It didn’t fit acceptance criteria”. Although, I do know that the decline was done by the AI reviewer. Despite all this, I would really appreciate help on how to improve my wayspot for resubmission, and if their are ways to better get across that my area has practically no public land and that this is my only option.

This historic sign is located in a naturally beautiful area and very greatly captures the rustic and friendly nature of Miami County and the Midwest as a whole. And the location of this sign serves as a wonderful spot to venture to from ang of the surrounding towns, ensuring some wonderful and unique views along the way. It is also located in an area practically devoid of waystops, so any additional waystops would really benefit the Niantic community players in this area!
I want to point you to a couple of articles that may help you with future nominations. If that second photo was your supporting photo, it should show the point of interest you are nominating, but it does not.

I don’t have any suggestions for convincing reviewers this particular sign is more than just a generic alert for drivers that they have crossed the county line. I do understand that there are some places that just don’t have anything eligible to submit. If you would like to leave a general location, then some folks on this forum are good at looking around on Maps and finding things to suggest. But do remember this is a public forum if you choose to share your location.
Oof this County line passes through a lot of private farm country which means very little to submit. There is a church along the line on the east end that would make a good submission. Check the usgs website for possible geomarkers.
FYI the land doesn’t necessarily need to be “public land” (as in parks and such). Privately owned land is allowed, as long as it’s not a single family residence or a working farm or a child care center.
Churches are especially good, particularly (but not only) Catholic or Orthodox churches, as they often are large enough that the building crosses into multiple cells, where there might be interior artwork or stained glass windows that could be nominated separately, and/or have outdoor statuary and/or memorial plaques on the grounds.
Restaurants, especially independent restaurants, tend to have wall art in the dining room that can be used. And so on.
If there’s any multi-unit residential (apartments, mobile homes, or even a convalescent home), they may have eligible objects in outdoor common areas.
