(Help) you know I need someone, help

I have worked it out at long last. I have made a terrible mistake on a wayspot description and title. It is really quite obvious when you know the answer. But I can find no way to fix it myself, can someone please fix this for me?

DAMPSKIPSBRYGGA

That’s Norwegian for “the steamship pier”

Location: 59.210506, 10.938370

Current Title:

“Undringsteiner - Binary Data”

Revised title:

“Undringsteiner - Morsekode - Dampskipsbrygga”

Current Description:

Revised Description:

Denne kunstverk staver DAMPSKIPSBRYGGA i morsekode. Verkene lyser best når det er mørkt

Edits can be submitted through Pokémon go.

You’ll need to be in range of the stop to do so though.

You might be able to try via help chat if that’s not an option, but they may tell you to just use option 1.

The problem is it is not in pokemon go. The closet i can get to making any changes is reporting it

The one like i must admit is mine. At the danger of going off topic again I don’t need any directions on how to get there

I finally decoded one of the discs set into Dampskipsbrygga in Fredrikstad. Circles are dots, rectangles are dashes. It spells DAMPSKIPSBRYGGA, the steamship pier

I thought, what a perfect watermark. The pier signing its own name in a code sailors actually used

Then I realised every coastal town in Norway I have visited has a Dampskipsbrygga, or Dampskipsbryggen, or Dampskibsbrygga. The name is not unique at all

What is unique is this one spelling itself in Morse under your feet, one of Christian Sunde’s 22 lit works in the paving

Anyone else found a Wayspot signing its own name?

Help chat it is, then!

Not sure about that. Help chats only covers locations > 10m. Hence this topic

Help chat will still process the edit if it is not >10k. I don’t measure before asking them, and would not know how to.

Location edit > 10 km was the only option available. I want to make a title and description edit. So i used the option to link to this topic and hopefully they will figure it out

sorry, to get to issues with criteria, it is under the abuse heading. they are hit or miss on whether they will process these for me. i should have scrolled back instead of just addressing what i thought the issue was.

what you did should get a response, since humans do read the tickets.

(i was looking for the conversation i had with aaron about help chat being a queue to report abuse and not the right pathway for other requests, but i can’t find it. must have been on the old forum. i hope a way to make these kind of edits from the wayfarer map is coming.)
