How fast can a nomination get accepted?

Seems 30 seconds.

Just did three noms for Indonesia (Riau Islands area).

And one was accepted in 30 odd seconds. May have been 60 but to say I was gobsmacked is an understatement. I am happy with 24 hours so – hey… So here’s to Emily, and in true Aussie Slang I say to you. “You beaut”…

All but one of my UK noms are through as well. So system is humming while destroying my reviewing records but hey… Focus on the positive…

Well my nomination for Singapore just went through for a fitness station. Like wham bam thank you Emily… It was less than a couple of minutes… She is fast

Congrates
What a positiv experience - love it :hugs:

Did you use “Upload later”? I don’t use it, but have seen people post immediate accepts like that - specifically @NvlblNm - before even having time to make any edits.

Mine was rightfully rejected

The description was also “Art”.

But yeah, I suspect this was upload later with more passable text.

oops ty - i will try to remember to say “decided”

Generally always upload later. Get home. Upload it. Put on hold edit as appropriate. I do sometimes upload on the spot but only if I can be sure I everything ready to go…

My Indonesian two are still in voting. So by humans I assume,

I submit remotely in Ingress since the range is so large for that game. That way I can be indoors when I review my photos and actually see them. And submit immediately on WiFi. I heard so many people were having “Upload Later” lose their nominations that I have never used it.

Is really something to consider for those who do use Upload Later that placeholder text needs to be at least minimally acceptable, just in case you don’t have time to edit it. Thanks for posting!

never lost a nomination in upload later. I think it is great. Means no rushing. And a much higher success rate as I can ensure information is correct.

Struth!

12 - 24 hours is usual if the :robot: likes mine.

Also…

Thanks.

HA. Awesome. So good to see that. Made my day… I put in another one in the park. Followed 462 - Jaw drop

And a couple more waypoints including Fatboys, the Swimming Pool, GR Convent Cypher Wall Box, War memorial - then 5 in Holland Park. Which I was surprised there would be any left.

Last time I was in Holland Park the reception was awful in large parts of it but still surprising there’s things to find.

I’ve kind of gave up on routes tbh. I was going out of my way to find new ones but found myself walking one that was titled Sainsbury’s - Tesco’s just to get the badge and then realised they were not going to become what I was hoping they would and I didn’t even need to go to the shops :joy_cat:

I’ll still make one if I see a cool Wayspot image and want that badge but the threshold for them is a pretty low bar unfortunately.

Reception was OK.I used EE this time and was so much better than last trip particularly in Dales. That said even in Berks/Wilts I got cold spots. In Sydney. I have to leave my house to make phone calls

Re Routes. I hear you. The threshhold to create is awful. The quality being created awful. I did however nail them in Alstonefield. I know they don’t like us talking about them here but for me in new places I go to as I create new way points I always look at a new route and visa versa.

My visit to UK/Singers/Indo resulted in one failed nominated POI. Out of about 40. Was pretty stoked. Though I have one still in voting for Indo.

A productive and satisfying wayfinder trip.
