Hello Niantic Support team,

I am requesting the removal of this Wayspot because the wayspot has never existed in this location.

The submitter has been getting various wayspots approved by submitting Public Right of Way (PROW) signs from other locations and placing them where there is no street view coverage. This path is not a documented PROW as per public city records. I walked down this path and did a full 360 degree video with GPS overlay to prove that this does not exist here. Relevant part starts 128 seconds into the video.

Further background info about this as its part of a series of fake wayspots - This area used to have 4 fake wayspots but 2 have very recently been accepted for removal. This and the one next to it (53.368030,-1.371015) are the remaining 2 for which the appeal was rejected. There are further wayspots I have not yet reported from this submitter that are invalid. For reference and proof of this submitters other actions elsewhere, you can clearly see 53.368464,-1.380884 is a copy of the wayspot at 53.368332,-1.383690 the lichen growths and rust is the same.

Hello,

Thanks for putting this together.

It clear from rowmaps that this path is not a PROW and even if it was as this a simple path between two roads in an estate with no onward journey I would not see it as meeting the exercise or explore criteria.

They shouldn’t have been approved even if there were signs.

Thanks for the appeal, @Kuponutmog! We gave this a second look and have already retired the Wayspot in question.
