I was submitting a pokestop nomination for a local family owned restaurant.
I set the location, but somehow the location reverted to the location I was at.
I did not realize that the location is set to a private residence until it went into voting. I can’t cancel it, and i don’t want to get reported for abuse over a mistake.
Is there any way to take the nomination down?
Riverwalk Pub
Firstly, don’t panic, posting here was a good idea. Staff may see this in time to remove the sub for you, and if it is rejected and/or marked as abuse by reviewers, this is a pretty good starting point for your defence!
Hey @TearsTasteGoOd ,
Welcome to the Wayfarer Community Forum.
Not anymore
I hope you like the outcome, though.

Happy Exploring!
I appreciate you looking at it. Could you please move it to the correct location of the restaurant?
Perhaps you already did, but i’m seeing the private residence location still.
43.6292674, -89.7756580
That shows the location where it was submitted.
Is it too late to say that all of my current subs are very slightly misplaced?
@TearsTasteGoOd There’s a motel pool across the street that sits partially in an empty cell.
Yessir, I plan on gettong to it when it has water in it. Its drained at the moment.
For subsequent submissions, please check the location carefully before clicking Submit. It can change in the following ways:
When you upload a photo, the system picks up the GPS coordinates where the photo was taken and reverts to that location.
When you scroll down on mobile to get to the submit button, the wayfarer map often scrolls as well, changing your location without you intending to.
Both of these should be fixable by Scopely Explore, but for now, being aware of them and taking care is the best option.
