This is a multifamily housing community and the LFL is on the Community Resource Center lot. It clearly meets the criteria for acceptance. This in NOT a single family property nor is it a single family neighborhood. I believe it has been removed in error. Please reinstate this wayspot and pokestop. This was my 1st accepted submission and I was so happy to be able to improve the game for my rural area. My account still shows this pokeatop as approved, so I dont understand why it got nuked!

Update: someone fraudulently marked google map that this property was permenently closed. Management was aware of this error, and it is fixed now in google map. Was this targeted abuse to remove a valid waystop/pokestop? Please reinstate this Wayspot/pokestop or advise what is needed on my end. Thank you

With a very short glance you can see the postboxes, the noticeboard and other signs that it isn’t a single family property.

Unless something else is wonky, this looks like a pretty clear error, and I hope staff pick this up soon.

If this pink and black one is the LFL, this does not appear to be a residential building. It has a sign on the corner, and a bulletin board on the wall. There is clearly safe access from the sidewalk.

I was wondering what on earth could have convinced them to remove this so that you could offer counter evidence, and found this Google listing

I don’t know if that is why they removed the LFL, but maybe you could take some current photos or some video to show that it is still the community resource center? Just guessing.

Not permanently closed at all. If it was closed, I wouldnt have to pay rent! But, how do you remove a wrong entry like that? I actually just submitted the bulletin board as a possible wayspot yesterday. I can give someone at scopely the office phone number and they can verify it is still open themselves.

If you go to Google Maps and click on the label, this panel comes up.

If you scroll down there, you will see suggest an edit.

Depending on the authority of the person who submitted that it was closed, they may or may not make the change.

I don’t know that this is why the LFL was removed. Am just trying to think of a reason.

I would still recommend taking some current photos that show both that the LFL is still there, and something that shows this is the Resource Center to add to this appeal for reinstatement.

Thank you. I will make the edit, but I dont think google looks at them. But worth a try. I hope someone at Scopely will fix this. I just took the photos last month for the pokestop so not sure why new ones make any difference, it atill looks exactly the same.

It seems like from fixing labels myself that the more you do, the more credit Google gives your reports.

I spoke to our manager, and they were already aware and working on fixing the erroneous “permenently closed” issue. So hopefully that will be resolved quickly.

I am shocked that google just sent me a msg they accepted my “reopened” edit. That was fast. Ok Scopely, now can you fix my wayspot / pokespot?

We still don’t know if that label was why this LFL Wayspot was removed. Waiting on staff to decide this removal appeal. I would hold off on using a contribution appeal on that bulletin board we were discussing on that other topic until this is decided. If they are both Wayspots, only one of them would be eligible to be a pokestop or gym, and you might want to save your contribution appeals since those are more limited.

(Also, if it turns out that the removal was property owner request, the bulletin board would most likely be covered by that request as well.)
