Postcards from Turkey are missing a picture

I have received several gifts from friends in Turkey, none of them came with a picture. Is there something wrong with pokestops or gifts from Turkey?

Hi, Türkiye ist one of the countries where Niantic back then imported a lot of POIs from external database to become Wayspots and enable them to come to Pokémon GO. These came without pictures, so for.that country, you can expect indeed a bunch of photo less postcards

La cosa brutta è che poi, se provi a caricarne qualcuna essa non viene accettata.

That’s correct for these experimental pokestops.

Testing New Wayspots in Pokémon GO

Other types of imports can have photos added to them.

Here’s an example, but there are many more without a picture.

I see that this was added in 2021.

So this is a location that has been imported from a data base in order to seed Wayspots there. You should be able to add a photo to this one if you would like to.
